Inspired by Booti Fabric

I'm sharing this card I made for the Papertrey Ink Challenge, inspired by Booti fabric print, using some old forgotten supplies which I last used in 2019. 

Products used:

#papertreyink (Woodblock Prints- stamp, Shaped Sayings- Birthday die & Huge Sentiments- stamp), #ranger (distress oxide inks- Spun Sugar, Fossilised Amber & Carved Pumpkin) & #catherinepooler (ink- Orange Twist to stamp)

The watercolor panel was ink blended using colors inspired by the challenge. As the colors seemed too contrasting when applied as bands, the inks were applied to an acrylic sheet, spritzed with water, then the panel was placed over it to achieve the desired effect. Once dry, the grid sheet was used as a guide to stamp the image in rows onto the panel. The edges of the panel were inked in black, then glued to the card base. The sentiment was die cut in black and white, and the circular portion around it was trimmed away. The white sentiment was adhered to the card, followed by the black, slightly offset to tie up with the edge of the card and finished with the stamped 'To you'.
