Happy Birthday MFT

Hi!
My Favorite Things is celebrating their 10th birthday and I thought I'd make a card for them. I picked the die used here especially to use it for string art and here's what I did with it.

Supplies used
MFT die-namics-Radiant sun
                            Bright lights numbers
ombre embroidery thread
silver card (recycled from chocolate box)
silver thread
silver acrylic paint
sequins
ice stickles (centre of sequins)
outline sticker sentiment
The string art, on the sun was done by passing the thread across every sixth spoke until all the spokes were covered up and the ends met. The die cut numbers were adhered. Then, following the sketch below, I assembled the card with machine sewing, splatters of paint, sequins and an outline sticker sentiment.

String Art Heart

Hi!
A happy Sunday to you all! I just made a card and here I am to share it with you right away.

Supplies used:
Papertrey Ink-Heart Stitches die
gold thread
flower outline stickers (cut into hearts)
sequins
gold embossing powder
The heart was die cut and the thread was passed through the holes using a needle. The process used is exactly the same as the traditional string art. Using the sketch below, the card was finished off with the string art heart, outline sticker hearts, sequins and a heat embossed sentiment.

Good Luck Engagement Card

Hi!
Happy Wednesday to you all. Yesterday, my daughter asked me to make her two engagement card. Instantly, I recalled the sketch below, got the image she had coloured three years ago and made this card today.

Supplies used:
digi image from Pinterest
colour pencils
silver paper
MFT-Together forever (sentiment)
Unity stamp (hearts)
diamond stickles
For the horseshoe, I drew a template on a piece of paper, glued it on the silver paper as it was thin, then cut it, dry embossed those rectangular marks around and adhered it onto the card. The image that was coloured by my daughter was fussy cut and adhered so the horseshoe appeared as the background. The hearts and sentiment were stamped and finished off with stickles on the hearts.

Colouring with Nail Varnish

Hello!
I'm back sooner than I thought I would. Well, I just felt like playing at PTI's MIM challenge, stenciling with texture paste and using nail varnish for colouring. I do not like bright, bold nail varnish and since these were sent to me as a gift, what better way could I use them for than crafting? So here's what I did.

From another angle making the sparkle visible

Supplies used:
Dreamweaver-Shell wreath stencil
homemade texture paste
nail varnish
sand
Papertrey Ink-Edgers #1 die
                       Spring woods stamp (sentiment)
Using the homemade texture paste, the image was embossed, coloured with nail varnish alone (even the white dots) and sand added. For the sentiment panel, I die cut a piece of the same card stock as the card base, but used the reverse which was slightly darker. Did this for the wavy effect.

Quilt Stencilling

Hello friends!
How are you all? I'm back, but still without my own computer. It will be fixed hopefully in mid-July as the person I've been referred to is on vacation now. Just wanted to start July with a card I made over a month ago.

Supplies used:
Dreamweaver stencil-Quilt combo
Stampendous-Birthday Brackets (sentiment stamp)
Memento inks
silver embossing powder
bling stars
silver acrylic paint
This particular 'Lei' design on the of the combo stencil reminded me of mosaics. So, I inked the design in a row onto my card base using bits of sponge and inks in two shades of blue. Heat embossed the sentiment, added silver spray all over and finished off with bling stars.
