50 today!!

Hi!
Today, I'm sharing a simple card I'd made for a priest friend last April. Hope you like it.
Supplies used:
Paper from my RAK
American Crafts-Thickers
gold glitter
alpha stickers
The words on the card were inspired by a MillBrook Studio card my sis sent from Canada. The original read as..."twenty one years old..." (outside) "...with twenty nine years experience"(inside) I changed it to the above for my friend who was ordained twenty four years ago. The words were printed on the paper, glued on card stock and finished off with the stickers.

Vellum Flowers

Hi!
I'm back soon as I said with yet another card made perhaps two years ago for a family friend. It often happens so...I craft, take a pic but other responsibilities get in the way to keep me away from blogging and eventually I forget about it. Like I did with this card below.
Supplies used...
Studio 18-Vellum Confetti (flowers & leaves)
sequins & glitter glue (flower centres)
oval doily
SRM sentiment sticker
twine
The vellum die cut flowers & leaves were given some dimension using my mum's flower making ball tool and finished off with the twine & sentiment.

Hexagons

Hi!
I'm back with another old make. I recall making it for a challenge (hexagons) but did not post it in time at the blog CREATE, which no longer exists. But, here's my card which I sent out last April to a male friend.
Supplies used:
Designer paper from my stash
Fiskars Cloud 9-Simple Thoughts (sentiment)
A simple card put together by making a hexagon template, drawing then cutting them and aligning them leaving spaces.

Thanks for visiting. I will be back soon and hope to visit you all later today.

Happy Birthday!!

Hello!
Hope you are well wherever you are. I've been away awhile because of Lent and frequent internet issues. Whenever I had connectivity I got connected with my kids...yes, I miss them a lot. I did visit some blogs, but been putting off blogging. Today while going through some pictures, I found several cards which I had not posted before and decided to do so right away. The card I'm about to share was made for my nephew and coloured by my daughter before she left for University...three years ago yikes!!
Supplies used:
Stamps - Fiskars-Birthday Type (background)
               Stampendous-Birthday Brackets (candles)
Colours - Metallic blue gelato (border)
                Crayola colour pencils
Foam tape
The Fiskars stamp is one that has to be used with a continuous stamp wheel. However, I used it with an acrylic block and stamped it twice. The candles were cut and adhered with foam tape.

Awareness Ribbon card

Hello friends!
Hope you are well wherever you are. The weather has been very unstable here, I just recovered from the flu and am here to share a card I made for a victim of ovarian cancer. Every cancer is represented with a specific colour. See HERE. As I did not own a teal ink pad, I made this card in lavender which represents all cancers.
Supplies used:
Card stock
A Creative Journey-Awareness ribbon set #2
Tsukineko brilliance-pearlescent lavender
foam tape
I stamped the desired words on a piece of white card stock, next stamped the large heart image from the set on the reverse and cut it. Using the cut out heart as a guide, i drew a larger heart on purple card stock, cut it, glued the white heart over it and adhered it to the card with foam tape. The tiny awareness ribbon on the heart was part of another heart stamp from the set which I stamped on purple card stock, fussy cut and added there.
