O Christmas Tree

Hello friends,

I'm here with my last card for the 'CASE Me a Christmas Card' event, and once again I CASEd the hostess Michelle Lupton. The main element on her card that inspired me was the multicolored triangular sections.

Products used:
#stampin'up paper, #altenew (embossing folder), Holographic paper, #uniko (sentiment stamp) & silver acrylic paint

Four coordinating papers were used to cut triangles to shape the tree, then embossed and glued to the card base. A star from my stash was covered with holographic paper, adhered in place and finished off with a stamped sentiment and a generous spattering of silver paint. Some larger dots were intentionally added to the tree.

Stamping w/ Watercolors

Hello friends,

Sharing this card I made for the 'CASE Me a Christmas Card' event. Here I CASEd Anna. The technique of stamping with watercolors was new to me, and I had to give it a try.

Products used:
#fbsstamps (image, scroll & sentiment), #justrite (frame die), watercolors & gold acrylic paint

The image was stamped with watercolors, then with gold acrylic paint, covered the panel with spatters and die cut the panel. The scroll was stamped with gold paint, the sentiment with ink, then fussy cut and glued. The die cut panel was adhered to the card base and covered with gold paper for contrast.

A Scene Outside a Window

Hello friends,

I still have a few more cards to share for the 'CASE Me a Christmas Card' event. Here I CASEd Angie. I loved the layout of her card, but I made a square one.

Supplies used:
#lawnfawn (images, dies & sentiment), #stampin'up (paper), #nuvo creativepens (birds), #rangerdistressinks (clouds, leaves & branch) & glitter glue.

A panel of watercolor paper was inked to depict clouds, adhered to the card base and the colored designer paper was glued over it to reveal an open window. The stamped, colored and die cut images were glued in place. The previously coloured and die cut stitched leaves were die cut again from the leaf in this set, adhered in place to show falling leaves, and finished off with a stamped sentiment.

Challenges entered:
#lawnfawnatics - holiday
#diecutdivas - critters
#asyoulikeit - critters (I like bird critters because their chirping is music to my ears)
#ssswednesday - anything goes

Have a beautiful day.
