A CAS CASE

Hello,

I'm back with another card I recently made for a CASE hop. I joined a few hops to give myself an incentive to make cards and stop procrastinating. Nancy Elrick is the CASE for this card. I was inspired by the simple, yet sophisticated look of her card which had a pop of colour on an embossed background. It also enabled me to use the vase die I've been hoarding for years for the very first time.

Pet Sympathy Cards

Hi there,

Time really flies. It's almost mid-February! I recently made these cards for an IG hop with a Pet Sympathy theme. This is the very first time I made pet sympathy cards. The hop enabled me to use the die cuts and grosgrain ribbon sent to me as RAK many years ago.

Flower w/ Negative Die Cuts

Hi,

Today, my card partly uses the negative of my previous card. I didn't want to make a gold heart, so I turned it into a flower.

Products used: 

#birchpressdesign die (flower), #darice embossing folder & gold paint (flower centre), #simonsaysstamp (leaves), #winnieandwalter (sentiment), black paint splatters & a stitched square mat.

Techniques used:

Diecutting, inlaid die cutting,  embossing & stamping

Dhalia Heart

Hello,

Today, I'm sharing a card I made with a new die I've had in my stash for about 5 years. I'm happy with how it turned out & I hope you like it too.

Products used: 

#birchpressdesign die (dalia heart), #crayola color pencils, #catherinepooler inks (greens), #darice embossing folder (flower center) #lawnfawn (tiny hearts), #fiskars (sentiment) & gold paint splatters.

Techniques used:

Diecutting, colouring, ink blending,  ink lifting,  embossing & stamping.

Congratulations! (A quick make)

Hello friends,

January has almost passed, and I haven't been sharing much. I thought I'd get here to share a quick card I made using whatever supplies I could easily access when crafting gets difficult around Christmas.
