Hi!
Just could not get here earlier and doing a quick post to share the card I made for a challenge at Mod Squad using this fun technique.
Supplies used:
CASual Friday-Wish Big stamps
Vivid-Aqua (for the sections)
Tsukineko-Brilliance-Pearlescent sky blue (largest design)
Memento-Danube blue (sentiments)
Splendor-#10 circus
VersaColor-Lapislazuli
Ranger distress ink-Salty ocean (panel edge)
Created this card using the retiform technique using all the shades of blue inks and the only CASual Friday stamp set I had. I used 8 out of the 9 stamps in this lovely set and finished off with distress ink around the edge of the panel.
I'm also entering this card into challenges at...

http://pennyblackatallsorts.blogspot.com - anything goes
http://craftycreationschallenges.blogspot.co.uk - monochromatic
http://lilredwagon.blogspot.co.uk - for guys
My youngest son who normally teases me saying the card isn't good, this time said he actually liked it and wanted to know how the sections were achieved.J
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
Leanne.

Wow, now that is a real compliment! My family just humors me, not even sure my husband really looks at my stuff. I love your card, perfect for guys. Thanks so much for playing along with us at the Little Red Wagon Challenge this week!
LOVE your monochromatic card. The blues really look fantastic! That's a beautiful set from CAS-ual Fridays! And now you can pass the technique along, how cool is that!!! Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Mod Squad Challenge Donna, Challenge Host.
Leanne this is stunning - love the retiform technique and how you have kept the card monochrome.

It's beautiful Leanne! I've seen this technique done in videos, and it does not look easy, just using solid colors. You've done it with designs as well. Your son is spot on, it's just a gorgeous card, using a technique splendidly. TFS

What a beautiful and fun card you have created. We are blessed that you linked with our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday and inviting you to join us again in our current challenge. Leaving you with the encouragement from God's Word in Romans 15:5-6 which tells us, "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Have a great Memorial Day weekend.
Blessings,
JO ANN
