Tonic Studios - Aztec Allium

Hello friends,

Sharing this card I made for the IG Hop, 'Stencil Fun' with the optional theme 'New' this month. Although I've owned this die and stencil set for more than six years, this was my first time using it. As a matter of fact, both the product and approach were new to me.

Products used: 

#tonicstudios (die & stencil set), #catherinepoolerinks, #tsuknekobrillianceink (on the embossed areas), #pinkfreshstudio (sentiment &die), grunge designer paper from my stash &  #pink&main (glossy dots)

A panel of watercolor paper was die cut and ink blended. The stencil was used to dry emboss over a light box. Silver ink was gently rubbed over the embossed areas. The die-cut panel was then adhered to black cardstock and glued to the card base, covered with grunge designer paper. The sentiment was stamped on the designer paper, die cut and adhered in place. The card was finished off with glossy dots, two of which were carefully cut to fit the half flower centers.
