Hello friends,
I'm back after a while to share this card I made for the IG Hop, 'An Encouraging Word'. The designated verse for this was 1 Corinthians 1:18, which emphasizes the importance of the cross for those who believe. The cross represents God's immense love and redemption for humanity.
Products used:
#catherinepoolerinks, #pinkfreshstudio (sunburst stencil), #darice (embossing folder), #pennyblack (foliage die), #newtonsnook (grass stencil), wavy mat die (company unknown) & #trinitystamps (heart die)
The layered sunburst background was created by ink blending, inksmooshing and inklifting for different layers. Some grass was stencilled at the base, and the panel was die cut and adhered to the base layer. The embossed cross panel was cut to shape, the edges were lightly colored brown, the foliage was arranged, then glued to the card and finished off with a die cut heart.
