Three Cards for Winnie & Walter

Hello!
How are you all? I had another cardmaking session over a week ago but just didn't feel like blogging as I was down with flu. I'm back to normal now and here are my cards for Winnie & Walter using In bloom-Lola's Bouquet and In bloom-Addie's Garden sets for the first time. Sentiments used are from CAS-ual Fridays- Pretty Posies and the colors are inspired by W & W's July color challenge.
Card 1:
This card is for Rerun #32 featuring their Mini Scenery-Madison. As I do not own the same, I decided to use a stencil as an alternative. The project was mainly inspired by Gayatri Muralis use of blooms.

The background was inked with Dreamweaver (now Stampendous) I-beams stencil. Ferns were stamped directly on the card and colored with Prismacolor Pencils. The blooms and leaves were stamped on cardstock, fussy cut and adhered. Some were layered with foam dots for dimension. The card was finished off with a sentiment in grey ink, bling and a touch of clear wink of Stella to to add shimmer to the rose petals.

Card 2:

The bands of color as in the inspiration picture were masked and inked. The daisy was stamped. The torn edge was to cover the tear created by the tape used in masking.  It was lightly inked with Brilliance-Platinum Planet to go with the greyish hue on the color inspiration picture. The card was finished off with a sentiment and sequins.

Card 3:
Ended up making this as I did not want to waste the card put aside due to an error while making the previous card wherein, I accidentally placed the tape at a wider distance and so had started afresh.

Three bands of color of varying widths were masked and inked. The vase and tulips and leaves were stamped an cardstock, coloured with Prismacolor Pencils and arranged into the vase by cutting an opening for the flower stems and leaves to go through. The entire arrangement was adhered with foam tape and finished off with a sentiment and Nuvo crystal drops.
I'm also entering these cards into challenges at...

Wonderful cards! All fun floral themes and interesting colors and designs. Glad you are feeling better- I just had a week of some weird virus as well. Hope other than your virus that you are having a great summer. My husband just returned from Mumbai on business- monsoon and all. SO many hours worked- I would have come with him, but had already agreed to babysit my daughters dog......LOL Hugs!
